Crossing Pakistani Border Will Be India’s Historic Mistake: Maryam Aurangzeb

Lahore: Senior Punjab Minister Maryam Aurangzeb has issued a stern warning to India, stating that any attempt to cross the Pakistani border would be a “historic mistake.”
In a post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Aurangzeb sent a clear message to India, asserting that any act of aggression will be met with a powerful and resolute response.
She emphasized that the entire Pakistani nation stands united like a rock with its brave armed forces. “India must not be under any illusion. Pakistan possesses full defensive capabilities and will respond decisively to any form of aggression,” she stated.
Commenting on the recent incident in Pahalgam, she expressed solidarity with the affected families and criticized the Indian government for politicizing the tragedy, calling it “shameful” and “condemnable.”
Aurangzeb further remarked that the world now clearly sees India as a threat not only to regional but also global peace. “The international community, including friendly nations, now recognizes that India is the true enemy of peace and a patron of terrorists,” she added.
She concluded by reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to peace but warned that any war imposed on the country would have consequences written by India itself. “We are advocates of peace, but if war is forced upon us, we will defend our sovereignty, dignity, and borders at all costs,” she said.
