Medical Store Owners Arrested for Publicly Humiliating and Assaulting Woman in Lahore

Lahore: Police have arrested the owners of a medical store involved in publicly mocking and physically assaulting a woman who visited their shop to return medicine.
According to police, the incident took place near Mayo Hospital, where a woman named Yasmin had come for her child’s treatment. When she attempted to return medicine at a nearby medical store, staff members allegedly ridiculed her and slapped her in public.
Following the incident, Yasmin filed a written complaint at the Mayo Hospital police post. Prompt police action led to the registration of a case and the immediate arrest of the accused.
The suspects have been identified as Bilal Hussain and Usman, and further investigation is currently underway. Police officials stated that those involved in harassing women will not be shown any leniency.
