3-Year-Old Dies After Falling into Open Manhole in Karachi’s Baldia Moach Goth
A tragic incident occurred in Karachi’s Baldia Moach Goth area when a 3-year-old child fell into an open manhole and lost his life. The child, identified as Abdul Rahman, had gone missing, and during the search, it was discovered that he had fallen into the open manhole.
Rescue teams arrived at the scene and retrieved the child’s body from the sewer. The child’s family blamed the authorities for not covering the manhole, which they claimed led to the child’s fall while he was playing nearby.
The police transferred the child’s body to Civil Hospital, where legal procedures were completed, and Abdul Rahman’s body was handed over to his family.
The grieving family staged a protest on Hub River Road, demanding justice, and blocked the road, causing traffic disruptions. Following negotiations with the police, the road was eventually cleared.
