Gold Prices Drop Sharply Again in Pakistan

KARACHI: The price of gold has once again seen a significant decline in Pakistan, with the rate per tola falling below PKR 350,000 and the price of 10 grams dipping under PKR 300,000.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola dropped by PKR 3,300, bringing it down to PKR 348,700. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by PKR 2,833, now standing at PKR 298,950.
The price of 22-karat gold also fell by PKR 2,597, reaching PKR 274,047.
Internationally, the price of gold per ounce declined by USD 33, settling at USD 3,305.
Meanwhile, the price of silver also saw a reduction, with the rate per tola dropping by PKR 40 to PKR 3,497, and the per ounce price falling by USD 0.40 to USD 33.33.
The consistent drop in prices is being closely watched by investors and jewelers across the country.
