Rakhi Sawant Supports Seema Haider, Urges India Not to Deport Her

Indian actress Rakhi Sawant has voiced her support for Seema Haider, the Pakistani woman who crossed into India for love, stating that she should not be deported back to Pakistan. “She is now an Indian daughter-in-law and has given birth to an Indian citizen’s child,” Rakhi said in a video message shared on Instagram.
According to Rakhi Sawant, although Seema was originally a Pakistani citizen, she is now married to an Indian man and deserves to stay in India. Rakhi emphasized that such cruelty should not be inflicted upon a woman, especially one who has built a life and family in India.
Rakhi further stated that Seema, who converted from Islam to Hinduism after marrying an Indian man named Sachin, should not be forcibly sent back. “If she hadn’t given birth to an Indian child, it would have been a different matter, but now she has, and expelling her would be wrong,” she added.
Calling Seema a human being and not a football to be kicked out, Rakhi requested that authorities show compassion.
It is worth noting that Seema Haider arrived in India from Pakistan in 2023, marrying Sachin from Uttar Pradesh and recently giving birth to their child. Seema originally hails from Sindh province in Pakistan and was previously married there. She reportedly entered India via Nepal, accompanied by her four children, to be with Sachin.
This controversy comes amid a broader crackdown by the Indian government, which, after a terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Kashmir on April 22, ordered all Pakistani nationals to leave India within three days and canceled their visas.
