Sit-In Ends on Karachi’s National Highway Link Road After Five Days; Traffic Restored

Karachi: The sit-in protest that had been ongoing for the past five days on the National Highway Link Road in Karachi concluded today. A heavy police presence dismantled tents set up by the protesters and cleared all roadblocks.

Workers of a nationalist party strongly protested the police operation, raising slogans against the authorities. Meanwhile, police began clearing obstructions from the road leading from Thatta to Karachi, restoring the flow of traffic on this critical route.

Heavy police deployment remained in the surrounding areas of Gulshan-e-Hadeed Link Road to maintain law and order.

After five days of disruption, the road has been reopened for general traffic, providing much-needed relief to citizens. During the sit-in, commuters faced severe inconvenience and difficulties.
