Explosion Near Police Vehicle in Lakki Marwat, 3 Injured

Lakki Marwat: An explosion occurred near a traffic police mobile unit in the Lakki Marwat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, injuring three people. According to police officials, the blast injured three personnel, including the in-charge of the police mobile unit, Imran. The explosion also caused a fire to break out in the vehicle. The injured were immediately transported to a local hospital for treatment. Further details about the blast are yet to be disclosed.
This incident follows a recent attack on the house of Police Officer Rafiullah in the jurisdiction of Lakki Marwat’s Saddar Police Station. Terrorists had used an IED to target the house, causing significant damage to two rooms, which were completely destroyed along with other property inside.
Police have launched a search operation in the area, and efforts are underway to apprehend the assailants. Just one day before this attack, a Frontier Constabulary (FC) personnel was killed in a shooting by militants in the Ghazni Khel area, which falls under Lakki Marwat’s Ghazni Khel Police Station jurisdiction.
