Najam Sethi Dismisses Sher Afzal Marwat’s Claims as Drama, Slams Statements on Salman Akram Raja

In a recent interview, renowned journalist **Najam Sethi** has dismissed **Sher Afzal Marwat’s** claims as mere drama, including his statements regarding **Salman Akram Raja**. Sethi called out the political narrative, saying that these politicians often twist the truth, claiming things that aren’t exactly as they’re presented.

Sethi remarked, *“This is all drama. These politicians twist words. They say things like ‘I said this’, and the next moment they make sensational claims like ‘Imran Khan stood up and asked to block him’—it’s just theatrics.”* He specifically took issue with Marwat’s comments about the leadership style of **Imran Khan**, and the way **Salman Akram Raja** allegedly commented on party management, which Sethi called a “classroom-like” approach.

Referring to the issues raised about **Aliema Khan** and **Salman Akram Raja**, Sethi added, *“Marwat is creating drama. The people who went to Imran Khan with complaints about Salman Akram Raja and Aliema Khan—Imran knows them all. He knows what Salman Akram Raja can do and what he’s been doing. Imran Khan hasn’t said a single word against Salman Akram Raja or Aliema Khan.”*

Sethi’s comments have sparked a fresh wave of political debate, especially regarding the internal dynamics of **Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)** and the relationships between key political figures. His dismissal of Marwat’s accusations further emphasizes the rift between those aligned with Imran Khan and critics within the party.
