Anaya shared that her father was very clear with her after she transitioned, telling her that there was **“no place for her in cricket anymore.”** She went on to express how this statement impacted her mental health, even leading her to contemplate **suicide** at one point. “I felt like the entire world was against me,” Anaya said, recalling the emotional turmoil she faced after her father’s words. However, she emphasized that despite the lack of support from the cricket system and society, her **family** stood by her side during this difficult period.
Anaya’s transition journey was not just about her personal change; it also affected her career. She explained that the **loss of her cricketing career** was one of the significant consequences of her decision to transition.
