Gold Prices Continue to Rise in Pakistan for Third Consecutive Day

Karachi – Gold prices in Pakistan have recorded an increase for the third consecutive day, aligning with the upward trend in global gold markets. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of 24-carat gold per tola rose by 2,000 PKR, reaching a new high of 350,000 PKR on Thursday, compared to the previous day’s rate of 348,000 PKR.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold increased by 1,715 PKR, reaching 300,068 PKR, up from 298,353 PKR. The price of 10 grams of 22-carat gold also saw a rise of 1,572 PKR, reaching 275,072 PKR, compared to the previous day’s rate of 273,500 PKR.
On the other hand, silver prices experienced a decline. The price of one tola of silver fell by 59 PKR, settling at 3,401 PKR, while the price of 10 grams of silver decreased by 51 PKR, reaching 2,915 PKR.
In the global market, the price of gold saw an increase of 19 USD, pushing the price per ounce from 3,310 USD to 3,329 USD. However, silver prices dropped by 0.59 USD per ounce, bringing the price down to 32.39 USD per ounce.
The continuous rise in gold prices has been attributed to global economic factors, and traders are closely monitoring international trends as the prices in Pakistan are heavily influenced by global market fluctuations.
