Belarus Offers 150,000 Job Opportunities for Skilled Pakistani Workers: PM Shehbaz Sharif

Islamabad:In a major development following his official visit to **Belarus**, Prime Minister **Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif** has announced that **Belarus has offered employment opportunities to 150,000 skilled Pakistani workers**, marking a significant boost for the country’s youth seeking overseas jobs.

According to the **Associated Press of Pakistan (APP)**, Prime Minister Shehbaz termed this initiative a “gift” from Belarus to the people of Pakistan. He emphasized that the move would be mutually beneficial, strengthening both nations’ economies while providing **dignified employment opportunities** to skilled Pakistani youth.

Speaking at a **joint press conference** with Belarusian President **Alexander Lukashenko**, the Prime Minister stated that Pakistani workers going to Belarus would be **trained and certified** according to **international and national standards**, ensuring their integration into the Belarusian workforce with competence and confidence.

During the visit, high-level delegations from both countries agreed to enhance cooperation in **agriculture, defense, education, and industrial development**. The leaders also underlined the importance of organizing a **Belarus-Pakistan Business Forum** to boost bilateral trade and explore further areas of collaboration.

President Lukashenko warmly welcomed the Pakistani delegation and expressed a strong desire to **strengthen ties** with Pakistan. He highlighted the **broad potential for cooperation** between the two countries, reaffirming Belarus’s commitment to deepening strategic and economic relations with Islamabad.

This development is being seen as a promising opportunity for Pakistan’s skilled labor force and a step forward in diversifying the country’s overseas employment markets.
