Harry Brook Appointed as New Captain of England’s White-Ball Cricket Team

England’s Cricket Board has officially announced that young batter Harry Brook has been appointed as the new captain of the England men’s white-ball cricket team.

This follows the resignation of former captain Jos Buttler after a disappointing defeat in the ICC Champions Trophy. As a result, Harry Brook will now lead England’s One Day International (ODI) and T20 teams.

Expressing his excitement about the appointment, 26-year-old Harry Brook said, “Being appointed as the captain of England’s white-ball team is truly an honor. Since childhood, I have dreamt of playing for England, and perhaps one day leading the team. Now that I have this opportunity, it means a great deal to me.”

Brook’s first test as captain will come at the end of May when England faces the West Indies in a series of three T20s and three ODIs.
