Balochistan Investment Board Vice Chairman Emphasizes Province’s Potential for Economic Growth and Investment

Quetta:Bilal Khan Kakhar, Vice Chairman of the Balochistan Investment Board, highlighted that Balochistan is the heart of Pakistan and the country’s largest province by area. He emphasized that the province is richly endowed with natural resources, stunning coastal areas, and a strategically important geography. He further stated that Balochistan’s development would directly contribute to Pakistan’s overall growth.
While speaking with representatives of the business community at his office, Bilal Khan Kakhar noted that economic stability in any country is driven by growing business activities, which in turn lead to prosperity for the people. He affirmed that the mission of the Balochistan Board of Investment is to identify pathways that would pave the way for economic and financial growth. He urged all stakeholders to collaborate in promoting both domestic and foreign investment.
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the Government of Balochistan and the Balochistan Board of Investment & Trade are actively working towards this goal. He mentioned that numerous incentives and facilities are being offered to investors and business professionals, with the government ensuring a conducive environment for business growth.
Bilal Khan Kakhar assured that the concerns of the business community are being addressed, and efforts are ongoing to resolve issues related to raw material availability, development of the coastal belt, and the expansion of the Gwadar Deep Sea Port. He also pointed out that access to Central Asian countries, Gulf states, and neighboring regions, along with a skilled workforce, basic infrastructure in industrial zones, and flexible government policies, all signify the government’s seriousness about boosting investment in the province.
He encouraged business people to take advantage of investment opportunities in sectors such as mines and minerals, livestock, energy, agriculture, coastal development, industrial zones, and more. By expanding their businesses in Balochistan, entrepreneurs not only open new opportunities for their enterprises but also create employment opportunities for the local population.
