24 MQM-London Workers Arrested for Violating Section 144 in Karachi

Karachi:The police have arrested 24 workers of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) London faction for violating Section 144 in the Azizabad area of Karachi. According to the police, the arrests were made near Liaquat Ali Khan Chowk and Jinnah Ground. The arrested individuals have been charged with violating Section 144, under the government’s complaint, at the Azizabad police station.

The Karachi police stated that Section 144 is currently in effect in District Central, Karachi, until December 10. This law prohibits gatherings, protests, and double riding within the district. The arrests come amid heightened security measures in the city to maintain law and order.
