PCB Announces Refund for Tickets of Rain-Interrupted Champions Trophy Matches

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a refund for tickets purchased for the Champions Trophy matches that were affected by rain. Two matches held at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium were called off without a single ball being bowled due to inclement weather.
Cricket fans who had purchased tickets for these matches are eligible for a full refund, as per the PCB’s policy. According to the board, if a match is called off before the toss, ticket holders for all enclosures will be refunded.
However, PCB has clarified that ticket holders for hospitality boxes (Box and PCB Gallery) will not be eligible for a refund.
The PCB has instructed eligible ticket holders to claim their refunds between Monday, March 10, 2025, and Friday, March 14, 2025, at selected courier company outlets.
Fans will need to present the original, undamaged ticket as proof of purchase in order to receive their refund. Furthermore, ticket holders must personally visit the courier company’s outlet to claim their refund, as no third party will be allowed to process the claim.
It is important to note that the matches between Australia and South Africa, as well as Pakistan and Bangladesh, at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium were abandoned without any play.
In the ongoing Champions Trophy, India and New Zealand from Group A, and Australia and South Africa from Group B, have qualified for the semi-finals, while defending champions Pakistan have been eliminated from the tournament.
