Western Winds System Brings Heavy Rainfall Across Balochistan and Other Regions

Quetta: A western winds system has entered Balochistan, leading to heavy rainfall in most parts of the province, including Quetta.
On Tuesday morning, heavy rainfall was reported in Chaman and its surrounding areas, while in the upper regions, hailstorms and snowfall were observed. The rain has disrupted electricity and communication systems in several cities of Balochistan.
Meanwhile, rainfall was also experienced in various cities of Punjab, including Lahore, Multan, and Chichawatni, while northern and southern Waziristan also saw showers.
According to the Meteorological Department, the system bringing rainfall is expected to persist until March 2, with the possibility of rain and snowfall in Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir.
Additionally, light rain is expected in Sindh cities, including Larkana, Qambar Shahdadkot, Jacobabad, and Sukkur today and tomorrow.
