Bollywood actress Vidya Balan recently watched the film *Sanam Teri Kasam* and couldn’t help but praise Pakistani actress Mahira Hussain’s performance. Sharing her thoughts on the photo and video-sharing app Instagram, Vidya expressed, “It was a beautiful love story, and I thoroughly enjoyed watching it in the theater.” She further added, “Mahira! You are amazing,” to commend the actress’s acting.

It is important to note that *Sanam Teri Kasam* was initially released in 2016 but did not perform well at the box office. However, its re-release has performed exceptionally well. In just five days, the film grossed ₹25.16 crores in India, surpassing the business of Himesh Reshammiya’s *B.A. and *Loyapa*.
This film was Mahira Hussain’s debut and last Bollywood project. Afterward, she appeared in the Pakistani film *Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2*. Following this, Mahira shifted her focus to television. Apart from acting, she holds a law degree from the University of London but chose to pursue her acting career over law.
