Chahat Fateh Ali Khan Announces Launch of His Own Music Academy

Kashif Rana, better known by his stage name Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, who gained popularity on social media for his off-key singing, has announced plans to open his own music academy.

In a recent appearance on a private TV show, Chahat Fateh Ali Khan shared exciting news that he will be opening the “Chahat Fateh Ali Khan Academy” in Lahore. The academy will offer training not only in singing but also in acting and modeling, aiming to provide a comprehensive learning experience for aspiring artists.

During the interview, the host asked Chahat about the kind of girl he would like to marry. In a humorous reply, he pointed to the host and said that he too is single, but has found a beautiful, Pathani girl with cat-like eyes. He jokingly added, “I have been following you for a year, and God has answered my prayers.” The host humorously disagreed, saying that his choice might not be the same.

Chahat also spoke about Pakistani singer Ali Zafar, mentioning that Ali had offered him to sing a song together last year. However, since Chahat had already released a song for the Pakistan Super League (PSL), he couldn’t collaborate with Ali Zafar at that time, but would have loved to do so otherwise.

Chahat Fateh Ali Khan first gained fame for his unique rendition of the Punjabi song “Akh Ladi Badubadi,” originally sung by the legendary Noor Jehan in the 1973 film *Banarsi Thug*. The song, one of the most popular tracks of its time, was covered by several artists before Chahat, but it was his version that brought him significant recognition.

Following his success, Chahat released “Badubadi 2,” a song inspired by the 90s hit “Nachan Ge Sari Raat Sonia Ve.” He blended his old song with the new lyrics, further expanding his musical reach.
