Two Prisoners Die in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail

Rawalpindi:Two prisoners have passed away in Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi. According to sources, prisoner Mohammad Amin, a resident of Rawat, died due to heart complications while being held in the jail. The sources added that Amin was transferred to Rawalpindi Cardiology Hospital for treatment, but he passed away en route.

Jail sources revealed that the deceased prisoner, Mohammad Amin, was incarcerated in Adiala Jail for a dishonored cheque case.

Additionally, another prisoner, Ilyas Nazar, also passed away in Adiala Jail. According to jail sources, Ilyas Nazar was being transferred to PIMS Hospital due to health issues, but he died on the way. Sources further indicated that Ilyas Nazar was arrested in a drug-related case.
