Government Takes Action for Safe Recovery of Kidnapped Woman in Khuzdar

Quetta:The spokesperson for the Balochistan government, Shahid Rand, stated that police and levies are actively working to recover the kidnapped woman, Asma, in Khuzdar. In this regard, a raid was conducted in the Anjira area, resulting in the detention of a suspicious individual.

Rand mentioned that the brother of the kidnapped woman, Abdul Hafeez Jatak, has filed a complaint, and a case has been registered against the main suspect, Zahoor Ahmed, and his accomplices. Police are conducting further raids in pursuit of the suspects.

According to the spokesperson, the case against Zahoor Ahmed and his associates has been filed under sections 365, 354, and 397 of the Pakistan Penal Code. Law enforcement agencies have been instructed to arrest the culprits immediately and ensure the safe recovery of the kidnapped woman.

Shahid Rand emphasized that the Balochistan government is taking all necessary measures to protect the lives and property of its citizens, and no one will be allowed to take the law into their own hands. He further stated that, following the directives of the Chief Minister of Balochistan, full cooperation is being extended to police and levies to ensure the swift arrest of the suspects and the safe recovery of the victim.
