Virat Kohli Faces Injury Ahead of ICC Champions Trophy

Islamabad:Indian cricketer Virat Kohli is reportedly dealing with an injury just weeks before the start of the ICC Champions Trophy scheduled for next month in Pakistan and the UAE.
According to Indian media reports, Kohli, who was preparing for his return to domestic cricket, is now facing neck pain, which has cast doubt on his participation in the opening matches of the Ranji Trophy.
The injury comes at a crucial time, with the Ranji Trophy set to begin on January 23, and just one month remaining until the Champions Trophy kicks off. A source from the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) revealed that Kohli is experiencing significant neck strain and has even received an injection for relief.
Reports suggest that Kohli is scheduled to represent Delhi against Saurashtra in the Ranji Trophy on January 23, but no official confirmation has been made regarding his availability for the tournament. There are speculations that Kohli may miss the first two matches of the event due to the injury.
The ICC Champions Trophy is scheduled to begin on February 19 and will be hosted in Pakistan and the UAE.
