District Administration Seizes 40 Gas Compressors and Arrests Two Dealers in Quetta

Quetta:The district administration conducted a crackdown on gas compressor dealers in the city, seizing 40 compressors and arresting two shopkeepers in the process. Under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner (Sariab), Maria Shamoon, and accompanied by Special Magistrate Hassamuddin and gas department officials, raids were carried out at various shops in the Sariab subdivision.

During the operation, a number of gas compressors were confiscated from different stores, and all the seized compressors were handed over to the gas department. The district administration has vowed to intensify its actions against the gas compressor mafia operating in Quetta.

In a stern warning, the authorities stated that if dealers continue to violate regulations, their shops will be sealed, and they will be imprisoned for a month. The administration is committed to ensuring that such illegal activities are stopped and will continue to take firm action against those involved.
