Islamabad:A viral video featuring popular actor Gohar Rasheed has caught the attention of fans, showing him signing a marriage certificate in the presence of a wedding officiant and several showbiz personalities.
The video has gone viral at a time when rumors are swirling about the actor’s alleged marriage to actress Kubra Khan. Some social media users claimed that Gohar Rasheed had married, while others speculated that the video was actually from actor Hamza Ali Abbasi’s wedding, where Gohar Rasheed had signed the marriage certificate as a witness.
Despite the circulating speculations, Gohar Rasheed has not issued any clarification regarding the video. However, it is now confirmed that the video was recorded during Hamza Ali Abbasi’s wedding ceremony, where Gohar Rasheed was a witness to the marriage contract.
Recently, Gohar Rasheed shared a video on his Instagram account showing him practicing a dance routine with Kubra Khan and other industry friends in preparation for a wedding event. In the caption, he wrote “Bismillah 2025” and mentioned that preparations for the event were underway. This fueled further speculation that Gohar Rasheed and Kubra Khan, who have been close friends for years, might soon be tying the knot.
In another video shared by Gohar Rasheed, Kubra Khan, Ushna Shah, Momal Sheikh, Azan Sami, Shazia Wajahat, Wajahat Rauf, and Asher Wajahat were seen together, with the hashtag “Mere Yaar Ki Shadi Hai” (My friend’s wedding) prominently featured. Kubra Khan also shared the story on her own Instagram, writing, “Beshak mere yaar ki shadi hai” (Indeed, it’s my friend’s wedding).
It’s worth noting that Gohar Rasheed had previously hinted at his intention to marry soon. During his appearance on Ushna Shah’s show, he openly spoke about love and confessed that he had found his life partner. He mentioned that living without her had become difficult and that they had known each other for a long time. He praised his future partner, calling her a beautiful and exceptional person.
Following his love confession and marriage hints, Ushna Shah, the host of the show, also complimented Gohar’s partner, stating that both Gohar and his partner are wonderful individuals.
