Quetta Citizens Suffering Worst Load-Shedding and Heavy Bills; If Stubbornness and Excuses Don’t End, We Will Surround Sub-Offices: Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party
QUETTA (Daily Qudrat Quetta): In a statement issued by the Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) Quetta district, strong condemnation has been expressed over prolonged and unannounced load-shedding in Quetta city and the K-Electric (KESco) administration’s stubbornness and anti-people actions in every area. The statement said that, except for a few VIP feeders in Quetta city, electricity supply has been cut off in all populated areas, and people have been subjected to torment through unannounced load-shedding, low voltage, transformer failures, tripping, falling wires and other excuses. Public complaints go unheard at KESco’s sub-offices, while the company’s heavy bills have broken people’s backs amid severe inflation.
The statement said that KESco should abandon its anti-people actions, improve the behaviour of sub-office staff, resolve public complaints at offices, and take emergency measures to end unnecessary load-shedding. Otherwise, the PkMAP Quetta district will be forced to protest in front of every sub-office, and the responsibility for this will rest with KESco officials.
