“Who Is Winning? No One”: Khawaja Saad Rafique Decries Rising Injustice, Poverty and Authoritarianism
LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Khawaja Saad Rafique has said that a voice from within asks: who is winning — the establishment, the government or the opposition? The answer is no one; unfortunately, injustice, poverty, lawlessness, extremism and authoritarian attitudes are on the rise and winning.
In a post on X, he said:
“A voice from within — who is winning? The establishment, the government or the opposition? No one. Unfortunately, injustice, poverty, lawlessness, disorder, revenge, prejudices, authoritarian attitudes and extremism are growing and winning.
Who will fight them? Who will be victorious? Those responsible for fighting and defeating these scourges are entangled in disputes among themselves. Who will deliver the nation, when and how? Why are lessons not being learned from past mistakes?
It must be made clear that those who waste their energies and resources in internal squabbles for egos and personal and group interests cannot be saviours.

جیت ، کون رھا ھے ؟
مقتدرہ ، حکومت یا اپوزیشن ، کون ؟؟
کوئ بھی نہیں ۔۔۔
بدقسمتی سے نا انصافی ، غربت ، لا قانونیت ، انتشار ، انتقام ، تعصبات ،آمرانہ رویے اور انتہا پسندی بڑھ رھے ھیں ، جیت رھے ھیں
ان سے کون لڑے گا ؟ کون فاتح ھو گا ؟
ان عذابوں سے لڑ کر جیتنے کے ذمہ دار تو آپس میں گُتھم گُتھا ھیں ،
قوم کو نجات کون ، کب اور کیسے دلاۓ گا ؟ماضی کی غلطیوں سے سبق کیوں نہیں سیکھا جا رھا ؟؟واضح ھونا چاھئیے کہ اناؤں اور ذاتی و گروھی مفادات کیلئے اپنی توانائیاں اور وسائل اندرونی جھگڑوں میں ضائع کرنے والے نجات دھندہ نہیں ھو سکتے ۔۔۔
آٹھ دھائیاں سے ارتکاز اختیار اور اپنے مخالفین کو ھر قیمت پر نیچا دکھانے کا گھناؤنا کھیل کھیلا گیا ، لوگوں کی برداشت اور صبر جواب دے چکے ھیں
چنگاریوں کے بارود کے ڈھیر پر گرنے سے پہلے بچا جاۓ
ملک کے تمام حصوں اور کونوں سے اھل ِدانش اور اھل ِ درد آواز بلند کریں ، آئین کی بالادستی اور قومی پرچم کی حُرمت پر یقین رکھنے والے اکٹھے ھوں ،
بیداری کی لہر پیدا کریں
ایمان آئین انصاف امن اتحاد اصلاحات استحکام کا علَم بلند کریںایک دوسرے سے ڈرنا ، بدکنا یا لڑنا قوم کے بیچ گہری دراڑیں ڈال دیتا ھے ، پھر ایک زلزلہ ھی تباھی کیلئے بہت ھو جاتا ھے
آئین ، قانون اور میرٹ کی حکمرانی ، عام آدمی کی نمائیندہ جمہوریت ، مکالمے اور انصاف کے ذریعے تنازعات کا حل ، شفاف حکمرانی ، مالیاتی ڈسپلن کا نفاذ ھی ھمیں منزل مقصود تک پہنچا سکتا ھے

For eight decades, the ugly game of concentration of power and humiliating opponents at any cost has been played; people’s tolerance and patience have given way.
Let the sparks be prevented from falling on the powder keg. People of wisdom and people of pain should raise their voices from all parts and corners of the country; those who believe in the supremacy of the Constitution and the sanctity of the national flag should come together, create a wave of awareness, and raise the banner of faith, Constitution, justice, peace, unity, reform and stability.
Fearing, recoiling from or fighting one another plants deep fissures among the nation — and then a single earthquake is enough for destruction.
Only the rule of the Constitution, law and merit, a democracy representative of the common man, resolution of disputes through dialogue and justice, transparent governance and enforcement of financial discipline can take us to our destination. Just think about it!”
