Another Inflation Blow: Bread Price Rises from Rs25 to Rs35 in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: The price of bread has increased by Rs10 in Hyderabad, adding to the financial burden on low-income and middle-class households already struggling with rising living costs.
According to reports from the city, bread that was previously sold for Rs25 is now being sold for Rs35, making it increasingly difficult for financially struggling families to afford their daily meals.
Residents said the prices of flour, pulses and other essential commodities were already beyond the reach of many households, while the latest increase in bread prices had further disrupted their monthly budgets.
The price hike has raised concerns among citizens who rely on bread as a staple food, particularly those struggling to meet basic household expenses amid persistent inflation.
Residents have urged the government to take immediate and effective measures to control inflation and regulate prices of essential food items.
They called for urgent relief to ensure that affordable food remains accessible to low-income families and that the rising cost of basic necessities does not further worsen their financial difficulties.
