Sohail Afridi’s Status Is “Offline” and He Is Currently in Detention: Faisal Karim Kundi
Peshawar (Qudrat Daily) — Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi, while confirming the detention of former Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, said that Sohail Afridi’s status is “offline” and he is currently in detention. If there is any case against him, he will face it; otherwise, he will be released. Speaking at a news conference, he said that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have rejected the circus; the people did not respond but instead celebrated a day of deliverance, sweets were distributed. Today their container stands abandoned. I had heard in the media that people were going to come, so I was waiting to see whether those who would besiege the Governor’s House would come. We had made arrangements for hospitality, but no one climbed the wall or knocked on the door. The people rejected 13 years of misery; we have begun a new journey.
Governor Faisal Karim Kundi said that PTI has never issued a statement against terrorism and extremism. No one is big or small; action will be taken against anyone who has ever engaged in corruption. Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi said that our first priority is the elimination of terrorism, and our focus is on peace and development. I thank the people for rejecting the circus that took place in recent days.

Faisal Karim Kundi said that our policies will come from Islamabad, not from Kandahar and Jalalabad. Mohsin Naqvi has assured that the needs of the security forces will be fulfilled.
He said that our focus is peace and development; we will fight our case together with the federation. The President and the Prime Minister will visit soon and will resolve our issues. We will present our case before the Prime Minister. There will now be no compromise on law and order; whoever takes the law into their own hands will bear the consequences. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has today given us 10 APC vehicles. He said that there will be zero tolerance for corruption; the mess of 13 years must be cleaned up. The people will very soon see a difference in the situation. We will not allow hooliganism and vandalism in the province. Faisal Karim Kundi said that we will show you the difference between 13 years and three months; we will answer them with our actions and performance.
