Big News for PTI

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) – Big news has emerged for PTI regarding the bail of Bushra Bibi, wife of the PTI founder, in the 190 million pound case. The Federal Constitutional Court has fixed the case related to Bushra Bibi’s bail for hearing. According to media reports, the Federal Constitutional Court has fixed the case related to the bail of Imran Khan’s wife, Bushra Bibi, for hearing.

A two-member bench comprising Justice Aminuddin Khan and Justice Ali Baqir Najfi will conduct the hearing. The case will be heard on Thursday, October 15. In the 190 million pound case, a plea had been filed before the Federal Constitutional Court seeking the suspension of Bushra Bibi’s sentence. PTI had filed the petition in the Federal Constitutional Court through Advocate Salman Safdar.

However, yesterday, the hearing on the petition filed in the Lahore High Court seeking details of the cases against former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s wife, Bushra Bibi, was adjourned without proceedings. The two-member bench’s member, Justice Amjad Parvez, recused himself from hearing the petition.

A two-member bench comprising Chief Justice Miss Aalia Neelum and Justice Amjad Parvez heard Bushra Bibi’s petition.

Advocate Asif Shahzad Sahi appeared on behalf of the petitioner, Bushra Bibi. Justice Amjad Parvez said that he has been appearing in this case personally as a lawyer, so it is not appropriate for him to be part of the hearing on this petition, upon which the court sent the petition to the Registrar’s Office to fix it before another bench.

In the petition, NAB, the IGPs of all four provinces, and others have been made parties. It was stated that the petitioner is a law-abiding citizen of this country, and cases are being registered against her husband, former Prime Minister Imran Khan, because he is a political personality. Despite being summoned, the details of the cases are not being provided. Not providing the details of the cases is a violation of the Constitution of Pakistan. The court should order all parties to provide the details of cases registered after June 22, 2023.
