“Nameless People Holding PTI Hostage Do Not Suit Imran Khan’s Release”: Fawad Chaudhry

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) – Former Minister Fawad Chaudhry has said that the nameless people holding PTI hostage do not suit Imran Khan’s release, and at present nationalist and anti-Pakistan elements have become PTI’s “mamay” (uncles/patrons). In his statement on X, he said that PTI has been held hostage by such nameless people who do not want Imran Khan’s release because his coming out does not suit them at all. At present, nationalist, anti-Pakistan, politically immature, and useless people have become PTI’s “mamay.”

Fawad Chaudhry said that the only way is for PTI’s parliamentary party to take matters into its own hands and give the party organizational discipline. Such a large party should not be punished for the establishment’s wrong policies.

Furthermore, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar has denied contact with Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

Speaking to a private TV channel, Barrister Gohar said that he has had no contact with Maulana Fazlur Rehman, nor has there been any telephonic conversation with him. Barrister Gohar said that efforts are being made to ensure democracy is not derailed, and PTI has prepared its ranks to respond to any move. He said that before the long march, it was never said that the KP government is not taking action against terrorism. The PTI Chairman said that if there is terrorism, then action should be taken against it; there must be a policy for an operation against terrorists so that the public is on board.
