PTI Long March: Maulana Fazlur Rehman Becomes Active

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) – Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has once again become active in national politics. After a meeting with the government delegation, Maulana Fazlur Rehman has contacted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
According to sources, after meeting the government delegation, Maulana Fazlur Rehman made a telephonic contact with PTI leadership and informed them about the government’s offer, after which PTI called an emergency meeting.
Sources say that the entire PTI leadership is participating in the ongoing emergency meeting on Zoom.
It is noteworthy that Maulana Fazlur Rehman had advised the government to resolve matters through understanding and dialogue instead of imposing governor’s rule or emergency, upon which the government asked him to play a role in negotiations.
According to sources, the government delegation that met Maulana Fazlur Rehman yesterday included Rana Sanaullah, National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq, and Tariq Fazal Chaudhry.
