Bringing Families to Saudi Arabia Made Easier for Qualified Professionals
Riyadh (Qudrat Daily) – Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior has issued important details regarding family sponsorship and visas for qualified professionals, under which visas for families can be issued simultaneously along with the processing of the head of household’s work visa.
According to Saudi media, the Kingdom’s Ministry of Interior has announced that skilled foreigners can now, along with the issuance of their work visa, simultaneously complete the family visa processing for their eligible family members — spouse and children. This means professional workers will no longer need to come to the Kingdom alone and wait for a long time; rather, they can complete the visa process for their families at the same time.

• استقدام أرباب الأسر لأفراد أسرهم، وهم: الزوج، الزوجة، الأبناء دون سن 25 عامًا، والبنات غير المتزوجات.
• الحصول على تأشيرات دخولهم إلى المملكة بالتزامن مع إتمام إجراءات تأشيرة العمل لأرباب الأسر من ذوي الكفاءة واستكمال شروط تقديم الطلب.
• استكمال إجراءات الإقامة بعد الدخول إلى المملكة وفق الإجراءات والضوابط النظامية المعمول بها.

The Ministry of Interior’s statement said that eligible professionals can sponsor their family members, including spouse, wife, sons under 25 years of age, and unmarried daughters. Upon fulfilling all conditions for completing the work visa process and submitting the application for qualified professionals, entry visas for the Kingdom for their eligible family members can be obtained simultaneously.
In this regard, it was further stated that after entry into the Kingdom, all residency (iqama) procedures will be completed in accordance with the applicable regulatory procedures and controls.
