Unknown Armed Men Blow Up Kathan Police Station with Explosives in Kachi-Bolan

Bolan (Daily Qudrat Quetta) — In the Kachi-Bolan area of Balochistan, raising questions over the law and order situation, unknown armed men destroyed the regional Kathan police station with explosives. The unknown individuals, taking advantage of the early hours of Monday morning, planted explosives in the Kathan police station building and detonated them, as a result of which the police station building was completely razed to the ground. Fortunately, no loss of life occurred as no personnel or citizens were present in the police station at the time of the incident, while all records also remained completely safe due to the absence of government records and documents in the police station.

According to sources, the Kathan police station had been vacated three months ago. Upon receiving information about the incident, heavy contingents of police and security forces reached the site and completely cordoned off the area. After collecting all possible evidence, the bomb disposal squad and forces launched a large-scale search operation across the entire area to arrest the culprits.

Police authorities said that the unknown armed men will be brought to justice as soon as possible, and all steps are being taken to restore peace and order.
