Approval Granted for Maryam Nawaz Medical College and Teaching Hospital in Mianwali and Kulsoom Nawaz Cancer Hospital in DG Khan: Irshad Bhatti

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) — Analyst Irshad Bhatti has said that approval has been granted for the construction of Maryam Nawaz Medical College and Teaching Hospital in Mianwali and Kulsoom Nawaz Cancer Hospital in DG Khan. “If these hospitals are to be built with government money, then why have they been given family names?” In a tweet on X, he said that news had just crossed his eyes that the Punjab government has given approval for a Maryam Nawaz Medical College and Teaching Hospital to be built in Mianwali and a Kulsoom Nawaz Cancer Hospital in DG Khan. “If this is true, then tell us whether both hospitals will be built with the personal money of the ‘House of Sharifs’ or with government money. If these hospitals are built with government money, then why have they been given family names?” he asked.
He further asked: “Has Pakistan really become orphaned now? Is there really no one left to ask questions? Is there no one left as a guardian or heir? Can anyone now do whatever they please? If that is the case, then do this: change Lahore’s name to Maryamabad, merge Gujranwala and Sialkot and call it Nawaz Sharif City, and change Faisalabad’s name to Shehbazabad.”
