Case Registered Against Four Officials for Giving Protocol to Man Released After 15 Years

SARGODHA:A case has been registered against four personnel, including an enforcement officer of the Para Force, for allegedly providing official protocol to a man released from Sargodha District Jail after 15 years.

According to reports, the released man was given an elaborate reception after leaving Sargodha District Jail.

An enforcement officer of the Para Force and three other personnel reportedly arrived at the district jail in government vehicles and escorted the man to his home.

The personnel allegedly went a step further by showering flower petals on the released individual. A video of the incident was also recorded and later went viral on social media.

Following the circulation of the video, authorities registered a case against the four personnel, including the enforcement officer, over the alleged provision of official protocol.

A departmental inquiry has also been ordered to investigate the incident and determine the circumstances under which government personnel and vehicles were allegedly used to escort the released man.
