“We Are the Frontline Province Fighting Terrorism; Because of Us, Other Provinces Enjoy Peace” — Sohail Afridi
Peshawar (Qudrat Daily): Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Sohail Khan Afridi has said that “we are the frontline province fighting terrorism; because of us, other provinces enjoy peace.” He said that the statement of the “fake Chief Minister” of the largest province — that she faces no threat from India but rather from other provinces — “each letter of it reopens our wounds.”
In an important video message regarding the explosion and terrorist attack at Kohat Old Police Lines, he said that today’s terrorist attack and suicide bombing in Kohat, in which our police personnel and common citizens were martyred, is strongly condemned by the provincial government, which also prays for the elevation of the ranks of our martyrs.
He said, “We once again give a message to all of Pakistan, and especially to those who call the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa terrorists, that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have sacrificed more than 80,000 lives for Pakistan — only then did peace come to Pakistan.”
He said, “We are the frontline province fighting terrorism. Our people are continuously making sacrifices, so this sacrifice should be valued. Our people are sacrificing here, and because of this, there is peace in the rest of the provinces and in Islamabad. We are fighting on the frontline against terrorism, and that is why there is peace in the rest of Pakistan. Therefore, this sacrifice should be valued.”
He added, “Each letter of her statement reopens our wounds and desecrates our martyrs. To directly underestimate our sacrifice is, I believe, a foolish act. The way the fake Chief Minister of the largest province issues a statement that she faces no threat from India but a threat from the other three provinces — these provinces are patriotic Pakistanis. They have sacrificed for Pakistan, are sacrificing, and, God willing, will always continue to do so, because this is our Pakistan.”
He said, “We will always thwart any conspiracy, from any quarter, that seeks to create division, prejudice, and hatred among our people. God willing, Pakistan will always remain alive, stable, and enduring, and our sacrifices for Pakistan will always continue.”
