After Detaining Me and Several of Our Friends for 4 Hours in Illegal Custody, We Were Released: Salman Akram Raja
LAHORE (Daily Qudrat) – PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja has said that after detaining me and several of our friends for 4 hours in illegal custody, we were released. In a tweet on X, he stated that after keeping me, Latasab Satti, Akhlaq Satti, and several of our friends in illegal custody for four hours, we have been released.
The sole purpose was to prevent us from attending the funeral of the late Ijaz Satti. Fear of the public has stripped the decision-makers of reason and understanding. Human rights have become meaningless. I am grateful to friends for their good wishes.

In this regard, KP Information Minister Shafi Jan termed the arrest of PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja as extremely regrettable and condemnable. He said that have funerals also been banned in Islamabad and Punjab? The current mandate-stealing rulers have trampled the Constitution, law, and basic human values in the country. The rulers of Form 47, in their political revenge, have forgotten even basic human values. The nation will never forget the illegal tactics of these fake rulers. Restrictions on a basic human and social right like attending a funeral are unacceptable. The federal and Punjab governments will have to answer for their atrocities.
