Imran Khan’s Life in Serious Danger, Alima Khan

ISLAMABAD (Qudrat Roznama) – Alima Khan, sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founding chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan, has once again expressed severe concern regarding her brother’s health and his safety in Adiala Jail, leveling serious allegations against the government and jail administration. In a statement issued on social media, Alima Khan said that Imran Khan’s life is currently in serious danger. Before Imran Khan was placed in complete isolation in October 2025, he was perfectly fit and healthy; however, by the end of December, the vision of one of his eyes began to be affected. Despite continuously informing the jail superintendent, he was not provided access to a doctor for two weeks, and later the doctor confirmed that this delay had caused permanent damage to his eye.
IMRAN KHAN’S LIFE IS NOW CLEARLY IN DANGER!
Imran Khan has repeatedly warned: “They will kill me as they killed Morsi in Egypt.”

She said that those monitoring the jail’s CCTV were fully aware of this, but criminal negligence was shown. Since late July, rumors have been spread on social media about his health deteriorating, blood pressure fluctuations, and mental stress, along with AI-generated fake images and videos being circulated. Despite hardships, Imran Khan has neither lost courage nor retreated from his stance, after which this false narrative regarding his health and mental condition is being fabricated.
Alima Khan pointed out that on August 18, 2026, the Supreme Court had ordered Imran Khan’s transfer to Shifa International Hospital so that an independent medical examination could be conducted in the presence of Dr. Ayesha Khan and Dr. Faisal Sultan. However, despite the deadline set for August 20, this order has not been implemented to date. Now there is no option left but to come out on the streets peacefully, in which two fundamental demands will be presented.
Our first demand is that, in accordance with the Supreme Court’s August 18 decision, Imran Khan be immediately transferred to Shifa International Hospital, and our second demand is that the Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court, Sarfaraz Dogar, either provide immediate justice on the bail applications in the Al-Qadir Trust and Toshakhana cases, which have been pending for months, or else recuse himself from the case.
