Sadiq Umarani’s Statements Were Highly Offensive, Says Balochistan Interior Minister

QUETTA: Balochistan Interior Minister Mir Ziaullah Langau has strongly criticized statements made by Provincial Minister Sadiq Umarani, saying they were highly offensive and had undermined the dignity of the delegation that travelled to Islamabad.

Reacting to Sadiq Umarani’s remarks, Mir Ziaullah Langau said misleading statements had been made about the Balochistan delegation, which had hurt the dignity and self-respect of its members.

He clarified that the Balochistan delegation was received at the airport upon arrival in Islamabad and was accommodated at a five-star hotel.

Mir Ziaullah Langau further said that Field Marshal Asim Munir listened to all members of the delegation with great respect and dignity and responded to their questions.

He rejected the impression created by Sadiq Umarani’s statements, saying the delegation had been treated with due respect during its visit to Islamabad.
