Imran Khan’s Sister Files Second Contempt Petition in Supreme Court Over Alleged Non-Compliance With Orders
ISLAMABAD:** Dr. Uzma Khan, sister of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, has filed a second contempt of court petition in the Supreme Court, alleging that judicial orders regarding the PTI founder’s legal and constitutional rights have not been implemented.
Imran Khan’s legal counsel, Khalid Yousaf Chaudhry, said in a statement on social media platform X that the Supreme Court, in its August 18 judgment, had issued clear directions allowing the PTI founder to meet his family members and speak to his children living abroad by telephone.
According to the lawyer, despite the court’s directives, Imran Khan was not allowed to meet his family last Tuesday, nor was he permitted to speak with his sons. He said the fresh contempt petition had been filed over the alleged violation of the Supreme Court’s orders and had been assigned Diary No. 18350/2026.

Chaudhry further stated that the Islamabad High Court had also ordered the previous day that Imran Khan’s solitary confinement be ended, family meetings be facilitated, and telephone and WhatsApp communication with his children be restored.
He said a certified copy of the Islamabad High Court’s order was expected to be received on Wednesday. Despite orders from both superior courts, he alleged that jail authorities were creating hurdles in implementing the directives.
The lawyer said all available legal remedies were being pursued for the restoration of Imran Khan’s constitutional rights. He added that the petition would be fixed for an early hearing after a Criminal Original number was assigned to it.
