PTI Expresses Grief Over Martyrdom of Five Security Personnel in Ziarat Cross Attack

ZIARAT: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the martyrdom of five security personnel in an armed attack on a police post and Customs warehouse at Ziarat Cross in Pishin.
In a statement, the PTI said the deaths of the five personnel were not merely a tragic incident but also raised serious questions about the security policies of the federal and provincial governments, the intelligence system and administrative performance.
The party said that when sensitive government installations could become easy targets for armed attackers, the authorities must explain their performance and ensure accountability.
The PTI demanded that the federal government and the Balochistan government explain how armed militants were able to reach sensitive locations despite billions of rupees being spent on security, and why the protection of security personnel could not be ensured.
The party called for a transparent and impartial investigation into the Ziarat Cross attack. It demanded that those responsible for security lapses be identified and that not only the attackers but also their facilitators be brought to justice.
The PTI urged the governments to take the issue of national security seriously instead of attempting to conceal their failures. It said an effective counterterrorism strategy, timely intelligence and practical measures to protect security personnel were urgently needed.
The party expressed condolences and sympathy to the families of the martyrs and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured personnel.
