AJK PM Announces Internet Restoration Within Two Days

MUZAFFARABAD:Newly elected Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Barrister Iftikhar Gilani has announced that internet services in the region will be restored within the next two days.

Speaking during his first visit to the Central Press Club, Prime Minister Gilani said that AJK’s internal and external routes would also be reopened within two days.

He said internet services would be restored in phases, with educational institutions to receive internet access during the first phase within the next two days.

Barrister Iftikhar Gilani, a Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) lawmaker, was elected the 17th prime minister of Azad Kashmir two days ago after securing 30 votes in the AJK Legislative Assembly.

The announcement comes amid efforts to restore normalcy and communication facilities across the region.
