Quetta Police Recover 14-Year-Old Abducted Boy Safely, Arrest Three Suspects
QUETTA: Quetta Police have successfully resolved a high-profile child abduction case that went viral on social media, recovering 14-year-old abductee Briyal Khan, son of Rahim Shah, and arresting three suspects.
According to police, Briyal Khan had been abducted by unidentified individuals, following which the incident attracted widespread attention on social media. A case was registered as FIR No. 102/2026 under Section 365 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) at City Zhob Police Station.
Quetta Police launched immediate action and arrested three suspects identified as Sabir Shah, son of Fazal Shah; Abdul Salam, son of Mashu; and Inamullah, son of Bismillah.
Police said the abducted child was recovered safely and would be handed over to his family after completion of the required legal procedures.
The timely and effective action by Quetta Police led to the successful resolution of the high-profile abduction case, which had attracted significant public attention on social media.
