Karachi Board Announces 2026 Class XII Science General Group Results

KARACHI: The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has announced the results of the 2026 annual examinations for Class XII Science General Group.

Announcing the results, BIEK Chairman Faqir Muhammad Lakho said Jannat Bint Ali Dost of Concordia College Gulshan-e-Hadeed Campus, Roll No. 625716, secured first position with 1,005 marks out of 1,100, earning an A-1 grade.

Hamza Shakeel, son of Shakeel Ahmed, of Adamjee Government Science College, Roll No. 605596, secured second position with 1,003 marks and an A-1 grade.

Laiba Zulfiqar, daughter of Zulfiqar Ali, of Bahria College MT Khan Road, Roll No. 619907, secured third position with 989 marks and an A-1 grade.

Chairman Faqir Muhammad Lakho praised Adamjee Government Science College for its outstanding performance in this year’s examinations. He said that after securing the first, second and third positions in the Pre-Engineering group, the college also secured second position in the Science General Group.

He said the achievement reflected the hard work, dedication and guidance of the students, teachers and principal.

Lakho added that the notable success of students from government educational institutions in the intermediate examinations was evidence that the standard of education in Sindh was continuously improving.

Examinations Controller Zareena Rashid said 18,913 candidates had registered for the Science General Group examinations, while 18,591 candidates appeared. Of these, 10,511 candidates were declared successful.

The overall pass percentage stood at 56.54 percent.

According to the results, 748 candidates secured A-1 grade, 2,193 obtained A grade, 3,184 secured B grade, 3,076 obtained C grade, 1,280 secured D grade, while 20 candidates passed with E grade.
