Ranveer Singh opens up about working with Ranbir Kapoor in ‘Andaaz Apna Apna’ sequel

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has said that working with Ranbir Kapoor in the sequel of 'Andaz Apna Apna' will be “a very enriching experience”. Director Rohit Shetty during a recent interview with Pinkvilla, had expressed his desire to cast Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in the sequel of Rajkumar Santoshi’s 1994 comedy 'Andaz Apna Apna' which starred Salman Khan and Aamir Khan. Ranveer also recently spoke about doing a role in the sequel. Responding on Twitter to a fan who had asked if he would ever do a comedy film, the actor said, "Hoping for something crackling to come along! Very much looking forward to something in that space! Andaz Apna Apna 2?! ;)". When asked, during the promotions of Simmba, about Rohit Shetty’s wish to cast Ranbir Kapoor and him in the remake of the film, Ranveer said, “I think it's a cult film and I think it's going to be difficult to live up to it. If you are planning to make the sequel of 'Andaz Apna Apna', you have got a big responsibility as it's one of those timeless comedies.” “And yes, I would love to collaborate with Ranbir as he is one of my favourite actors. There have been several opportunities and I hope one of them in near future materialises. It will be a very enriching experience working with Ranbir,” he added.
