Amir, Shaheen help bowl out South Africa for 223

CENTURION: Mohammad Amir and Shaheen Shah Afridi took four wickets each as Pakistan restricted South Africa to 223 in their first innings of the first Test at SuperSport Park on Thursday. In a Test turning out to be an epic battle of pacers, South Africa managed a lead of 42 runs before Pakistan cleaned up the hosts on the second day. Hasan Ali claimed two wickets. Pakistan were bowled out for 181 on the opening day of the match. Duanne Olivier took six for 37 as the hosts subjected Pakistan to an onslaught of aggressive, short-pitched bowling.
